Mary joined AlexanderHancock Associates with 30 years of experience in organizational effectiveness, consulting, human resources development and training.

Her broad range of experience includes Human Resource management within both Corporate and Regional environments, direct management of senior level Human Resource and Operational personnel, strategic planning, leadership and team development, merger and acquisition implementation, employee relations, and global recruiting and staffing strategies.

Prior to joining AlexanderHancock, Mary’s career has included tenures at Allstate Insurance Company, PCA International and, most recently, CIGNA HealthCare, all in an executive capacity as Asst. Vice President, Human Resources and Regional Human Resource Director, respectively. She has held responsibility for facilities coast to coast in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.

Her background encompasses change management integration; deployment of competency modeling for assessment; succession planning and performance measurement; development of start-up initiatives in Call Center Operation; improving teamwork and integrating best practices to enhance employee and customer satisfaction.

Mary volunteers her time to Elder Care and the Young Women’s Christian Association, serves as a United Way spokesperson and is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management. Mary, her husband and two daughters live on Lake Norman and enjoy all outdoor activities, travel, reading and cooking.
