People to People a Big Hit!
Alexander Hancock Associates and 5 other trainers recently
completed a 10 week training effort at one of the country's
largest financial institution. The program, called People to
People, is designed to teach managers how to have basic
conversations with employees about critical issues in the
organization, such as:
- performance issues
- developmental needs
- strategic initiatives
- upward feedback
- goal setting
Frequently these conversations are handled poorly or not at
all at great peril to the organization. Learning to handle
these conversations well can have a huge, measurable impact on
financial results by ensuring employees are engaged and
"clued in" to the direction the organization is
headed.
